I have a user with a 7100I, and we just got BES. He works from home, work and blackberry. Before we activated his phone, he used to manually sync with his work and home computer with his 7100i so he would be semi-synced between work and home. Since we activated his backberry on BES, he can't sync on his home computer. Is there any way around this? I have suggested other options such as Plaxo, but he is unreceptive of it. We have other security reasons for not putting his home computer on vpn/exchange/etc so that isn't an option either.

In order to sync with DM via USB you have to turn off wireless sync in the apps that you want to sync. If you want to sync calendar data from the PC then go into the Calendar app on the device and go to Options. Set wireless sync to "No." Then you'll be able to sync the calendar app via the cable.
