Hi, I have the bb storm 9530. it hasnt been dunked in water or wet or anything. It was apparently on vibrate and the amount of calls i got made it go dead. when i turned it back on the screen no longer responded to touch. The buttons work, the battery is at 50%, but i cant use it. None of the icons will highlight, none of the menu options will highlight. the click continues to reveal the rest of the menu, however once again, the touch capability is dysfunctional.

A reboot does not solve this problem.

I'd take it back to Verizon. Sounds like you got a bad unit.

Got my 1st Storm before Thanksgiving. Same thing happened to me by that evening. Customer Support told me to take it to a Verizon store so the tech could verify it doesn't work. They replaced it but voice-dialing doesn't work on the replacement. Another trip back to the V-store.
