Hello All,
I am totally confused about which phone I should buy, my options are
Iphone
Blackberry Bold

I love the Blackberry bold looks and features (though I am confused about the features). I just would love to have this phone. But recently as I was checking details about the phone, I was told that I will need BIS for email push and web browsing. I currently hold a data plan from singtel singapore, with 1 GB local data usage limit. But I was told that this plan will not work for blackberry and I will need dedicated BIS plan for browsing and email. The cost for BIS is 24$ and for my current broadband on mobile is $3.50.


Can anyone help me verify if normal data plan can still be used with blackberry? I cannot use my blackberry for office emails (not allowed) with this limitation is it really worth to buy blackberry bold without email and data

You will NOT get push email, use or download of apps, and browsing will be difffcult if you do NOT get the data plan.

In your case, do not buy the blackberry.

You also would need a special iPhone data plan if you chose the iPhone. It's similar in cost to the BlackBerry data plan. At least it is on AT&T anyway.
