Why do some people post their pin that they are looking for BBM buddies but decline the friend request? I just don't get it....

Yep, I agree. I also don't understand why someone would post their PIN in a forum where it cannot be edited / removed. If you think about the long term ramifications(people selling their device), it's definitely a train wreck waiting to happen.

People can request the post to be deleted or edited. I've done that a number of times when asked.

Sorry for being unclear daphne. I suppose my sentence should have said "....where it cannot be edited / removed without the help of a moderator".

Seems an extra burden for moderators. All the user has to do is put their PIN in their profile where it is easily user controlled.
