Default I cant find Maps......Help Me.....

Please Login to Remove!

Guys,
I bought a 9550 from Telus in Canada, and got it unlocked. Now I am using the service offered by Fido. There is a problem, however. Even I installed maps in desktop manager, I cant find it any where in my phone. I checked "show all", and there is not a single hiden file or icon. I go to Option-advanced option-maps, and it says default service: None.
I am an ESL student, and this is my first time having a blackberry. I dont know what other information I need to offer. It's v5.0.0.713 (Bundle 1206, Platform 4.2.0.323). I appreciate it very much if some superman can solve my problem.
Forgive my grammar mistakes. If you cant understand my English, just let me know, I will try my best to explain it. Thank you.

Your BlackBerry Maps is not showing because, although it is installed, it is only enabled via pushed service book from your carrier. You won't get it, using the Telus Storm on Fido, sorry.

Your next best option is to use google maps. Use your BlackBerry browser to go m.google.com/maps

So will I make it if I change to a Telus plan?
What else do I need to do?
