Re: My voicemail icon is gone
Wow, change the SMS settings for a hidden Icon????
Unless you deleted the App or the carrier did try this.
This is from the user guide.
Make all hidden apps visible on the home screen. On the home screen, press the key BB > Show All Icons.
To unhide an app, highlight it and then press the key BB >
Unhide Icon. If the icon is hidden in other panels, you can
unhide the icon in all panels, or in the current panel only.
If Show All Icons does not appear in the menu, there are no apps
hidden from view.
A theme may be available on the BlackBerry® smartphone that changes how items such as programs, indicators, words, and icons appear. Themes with only a few icons on the side of the Home screen generally take the first four or five icons from the Application Screen and use those icons on the Home screen. Theme availability is dependent on the wireless provider.
To move the icons around the Home Screen, follow these steps:
For BlackBerry Device Software 4.0 and 4.1:
Use the trackwheel or trackball to select the icon you wish to move.
Hold ALT key and click the trackwheel or trackball to open the menu.
Select Move Application.
Using the trackwheel or trackball, move the icon to the desired location.
Click the trackwheel or trackball to release the icon in the new location.
For Blackberry Device Software 4.2 to 7.1:
From the Home Screen, highlight the icon you wish to move.
Press the Menu button.
Select Move from the menu.
Using the trackball or trackpad, move the icon to the desired location.
Click the trackball or trackpad to release the icon to the new location.
To move an icon from the current folder to a different folder, select Move to Folder from the Menu (in step 3 above) and choose the destination folder.
Note: For Device Software 4.2 to 5.0, when an icon is moved to the top row of icons, it will appear on the Home screen for many themes. These icons can be arranged to appear on the Home screen without having to change the theme.
If an icon still cannot be moved, try selecting a theme that displays all icons. For instructions, see the User Guide that accompanied the BlackBerry smartphone.
Note: The Frequent pane was introduced in BlackBerry 6 (still exists in BlackBerry 7). Icons in the Frequent pane cannot be moved.
