I just got the Plantronics M2500 headset for my BB 7250.

I know that i have to pick the option of having Blue Tooth Enabled on my BB -- my question is does having Bluetooth enabled drain the power when I am not using the headset?

In other words, do I have to enable/disable Bluetooth each time I use the headset?

It should add to your normal standby power drain slightly, but nothing to horrible. I have my headset on all day long and I still have 3 full bars at the end of the day left after I talk for about 1.5 hours worth of airtime and sending/recieving email. I use a 7520+BT800, ymmv, but I'm guessing that unless you are constanlty yapping on your phone you probably won't notice anything.
