I was using the voice recorder and then sent it to my email address. It's showing up as an .amr file. What is that? Any idea what kind of player can play that file?

3. An AMR file is the file format used by the BlackBerry to save and play voice recorded files.

you can use a program such as Super to convert it to mp3 and play it that way

Audacity is another good one. Simple to use. And free. Most mobiles use .AMR files for audio (one way or another). Super high compression.
If you're just looking to play the files on your PC get VLC. It's free and plays just about every format known.
