Well my phone rang this morning and it wasnt the normal ringtone that was set for the profile. The ringtone of course saved on my card. I go to media, explore, and memory card is not even an option anymore. I of course do a battery pull and take the card out and reinsert it, same thing no card present on device. I take the battery out again and put the card in the adapter and into the computer...doesnt show up there either, any ideas? (This card is only a month old and is a patriot 4gb)

wow, not good. No way to format it, if it doesn't appear on the PC, either.

Yep it normally pops up with the open folder options on the PC, but nothing. When I go to my computer and open the drive it just hour glasses.

One month old... could still be in warranty according to where you purchased.

Yea I do not have the receipt so I doubt the store (fry's) is going to even talk to me, I emailed Patriot directly to see if they could help.

If for some reason it lost its formatting, you might get that reaction when you plug it into your computer. You could try either Managing Computer and then Storage Devices and see if it shows up - then format.

Or just try formatting by right clicking on that drive/disk (if it shows - do not left click) and picking format.
