Default Need to have BlackBerry Synced with laptop... Annoying Error...

Please Login to Remove!

Hello... so I kinda need my BlackBerry 8310 synced with my Outlook very soon due to contacts and calendar events (if worse comes to worse, I will enter it all in manually)... but I really hope I can find a problem before then.

So I've installed the newest Desktop Manager v4.6. Everything is going great: it recognizes that it's there, I can back-up my data, etc.... but I can't get it to sync with Outlook 2007!

I go to Synchronization > Configuration Tab > Synchronization, and I get 4 options that appear: Calendar, MemoPad, Address Book, and Tasks. I have tried all 4 of these and NONE of them work. I always go into the setup, go to Microsoft Outlook, two-way sync, it says "Congratulations," then I hit the "Finish" button and I get this error:

"Runtime Error: Folder is no longer part of the system data source or the folder could not be found."

Again, I really need this synced soon for contacts and calendar events, so if anybody can give any input it would be greatly appreciated. I'll be checking back frequently.

Thanks!

See your other thread. FYI double posting is not terribly appreciated on this board. You may incur the gentle wrath of a moderator.

Wirelessly posted (8100 Pearl)

Try configuring your DTM to Outlook.

Um, that would be what the OP is attempting to do. Not the solution.

Try deleting and re-creating your Outlook profile and then go back into DM. I have no idea if this is relevant or not to this specific error but Outlook profile issues seem to be pretty common causes for all sorts of sync setup issues and deleting and re-creating a profile is typically very simple.
