Default 8330 saying I have a msg that I don't have

Please Login to Remove!

I have tried turning the thing off, taking the battery out, and it still shows I have a message that isn't there. I THINK it's showing that I got a receipt message from a yahoo account that says someone read a message I sent, and that has been deleted from my yahoo account. (which is odd because I've never ever gotten receipt msg's before from Yahoo and have not changed my settings there.)

Does anyone know who to get rid of it? (the envelope at the top saying I have a message)

Thanks

Have you gone into your messages both through the main messages application and the individual mail accounts? I ask because I use a version of the Today Plus theme, and my individual mail account icons don't show up (that is, everything is consolidated into the main messaging application, and the individual account icons are hidden). This happened to me once, and I had to change my theme so I could get the account icons back. Lo and behold, there was the phantom message.

Thank you! That worked! wow... now, another question. I "un-hide" all the mail accounts, I want to hide them again and when I do, they don't go away, they are just a very light grey... I don't understand that, or how to make them not visable?

Hit the menu key and "re check" the Show All option. That will truly hide the hidden icons.
