The backup and restore does not back up 3rd party applications. You will need to install them again.

I stand corrected

What was I thinking, leave the blackberry at home?!?!? I must have left my brain at home today to even say that.

My wife did that once, except she took the BB out of my pocket, and put in an anvil.
Think she was trying to tell me something?

So there I was on holiday with some family in the Lake District, Lake Coniston to be exact.

We'd walked for miles and were now sitting on the jetty waiting for the boat back to our starting point.

My BB is in my walking bum bag - holds all sorts from raincoat to dog stuff and wallet and mobile phone.

I reached for my mobile phone whilst dangling my feet off the jetty and into the water and gues what happened.

I surfed the net but had Serpentine009's story in my head all along. Panic and fear meant the curve never went anywhere near a chance of being dropped or knocked out of my hand by a dog.

But there i am on holiday enjoying the time of it and this tales comes to mind.
If thats not crackberry then what is?

That would make for a good commercial. The fog rolls in, the water gets calm, all goes quiet, you hear the call from a seagull. BB makes it safely out of bag.

Since the drowning of my beloved Pearl, I upgraded to the Curve. I love it. Web content loads faster, i guess there is more screen real estate to work with.

My only problem was that when I received my Curve, the trackball made some funny clicking sound and LCD Screen had blemishes on it which I can only guess came from dirt trapped under the plastic wrap. So I switched the trackball with my wife's before I sent it back to Asurion and I ordered a new one just to be safe and a new screen from CNN. Seems to be ok now (the temp trackball). I have the phone silicone skinned and I am waiting for the new screen to apply the BSE kit.

I may have posted about this, I may not have, I can't remember, but it seems that the unit from Asurion is put together better then the one from the factory. I used to have a stigmatize insurance replacements, but I read somewhere that they are individually scrutinized and tested before being shipped to an end user where factory units only a sample is tested. Ahh, now I am just babbling on a Friday afternoon well after my mental check out.

It's good to know there is a support group for this addiction. (1 of many)
