Default DM 4.7 Backup prob

Please Login to Remove!

Removed 4.6, installed 4.7 (BES version), 8310 4.5 connects through to Exchange server OK, tried to Backup device, gets as far as Calendar Options then returns "Unknown Error" and blows out.

Restarted DM, changed destination folder etc., no joy.

Any ideas?

i was going nuts with this. i upgraded to 4.7 then could not back up. downgraded to 4.6 and back up would not go past RMS databases. I deleted these off the device. backed up fine. all I lost were the settings for jivetalk. everything else was in place.

Like you I went back down to 4.6 and it too hung at RMS d/bs. So I reinstalled 4.6, then upgraded the OS. Funny thing was, once the radio had been turned off prior to the OS upgrade, the backup went OK.

I also found that turning off mass media support helps. i have an 8gb card and device manager in windows isnt happy with it.

Interesting about the radio. I seem solid now. But the next issue is I hang at call log. after making or taking a call it wont exit anywhere or way. have to reboot.

Where can I find the "RMS" databases?
Thanks!
