Default Why is my media manager greyed out?

Please Login to Remove!

I never had this problem with my 8830, but now with my Storm, my media manager section is greyed out and I have to browse into my storm by using windows explorer. My storm is connected via the micro usb cable and synchronizes data fine... just can't use the media manager option. Any ideas?

Do you have a media card and is mass storage mode enabled.

Can't use it at all? Or just grayed out? If it's the latter, try highlighting the icon and hitting the Menu/BB button and make sure "Hide" isn't checked.

Did you download an update for DM without MM?

I had this exact same problem. I went to control panel>Add/remove programs and removed all the Blackberry software. I then re-installed Desktop Manager and chose a custom install and made sure Media Sync was checked. This resolved the error.

Wirelessly posted (bb8320TMO)

Run the media manager install by itself. Its in a folder on the cd you got from Verizon or in a folder you'd see when you exttavt the files you downloaded
