Is there a way to change the colour of the LED to notify you of different types of messages?
Say red for email, yellow for txt msgs and perhaps blue for voicemail?

What color would it be if you have one of each? Brown?

have a look at "blackberry alerts". it does exactly what you want. And no if you missed differnet types of messages, the led will color cycle. meens will be flash red, green and blue then pause. first software after a long time that where purchased by me. and its worth any cent.
