It works on the 8800 so it should be. Do a backup and then install it just to make sure.

I installed the trial version on my dad's 8830 not thinking there'd be a compatability issue. It's working so far, but when I went to purchase the reg key on Handango, I was told the program's not compatable with the 8830. So am trying to figure it out.

Have checked PD's web page which doesn't say one way or the other, and have emailed them to make sure.

I've installed PD Pro based on comments from pD that it is compatble; just purchesed the code. But still having problems that Im not havine w/ my Curve, or Bold

text message doesn't show right away, then after I deleted it in mail it
appears (after a delay) and after deleting it in PD it disappears but a
space still exists as if it is there; speed dial doesn't set, when I click
on the contact it takes me to the phone number but on pressing the number I
get options but none that allows me to set it to the speed dial

Pocket Day support is very good. You might try contacting them. You can do it from the app.

Yes I agree generally they are. But they've not responded to my request.

for some reason they hadn't received my email. But once I resent it, I got a response within a an hour or so. In case others experience the same issues and are looking for a fix, here's what they said (I've not yet tried the suggested fix):

----For the text messages, this sounds like a firewall issue. Go into BB
options / security options then firewall. Make sure it's Disabled. Then
press Menu then Reset. Press menu again then Save. Then pop the battery to
reboot.

For the speeddials, a contact must have an email address on old BB OS
