While on a call, if I move the phone close to my face and depending on which ear I am using, the phone goes to either mute or speaker. A slight touch is all it takes. Any ideas?

this has been talked about in other threads, and one of the ideas was to bring the number pad back up during your call,it works for me

I also just press the black part of my screen next to where it says connected, and that pulls up a white screen with the information about the phone number. With the keypad, I sometimes hit the number keys, and it dials into the phone while on a call.
