Smile Weatherbug on Storm Question

Please Login to Remove!

So, I downloaded the Weatherbug program for Storm without a problem.
I got the icon on my download folder, so I try to open it by clicking on it......
and nothing happens. lol
nothing at all.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

I downloaded it yesterday with no problems. I've added 4 locations and all seems to be well. Maybe you should uninstall & reinstall.

Uninstall it, clear browser cache and reinstall from OTA link, then add a location.

Are you using the weather bug from my previous post?

http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...bug-storm.html

If not the "normal" weatherbug (also listed in that link) had the same issues on my Storm. When I installed the new one I haven't had any issues.

I would hold off on the WB for storm. The new WB update seems to be affecting GPS function for BBmaps & VZN and Docs To Go.
Ceck out the thread "weather bug for storm". I cannot post the link due to the 10 post or less rule.

When I had it installed my GPS was acting all weird with VZN and BBMaps. Took it out, fine. Wiped BB, Reloaded .75, GPS good. Reloaded Weatherbug, GPS weird again. I deleted the app, grps fine again. I loved the app but I need Navigation. I'll wait for the new version.

If you have the icon on your home screen, highlight the icon, press the BB menu key, select move, and move the icon to the top or second row. Then it should be on your first home screen.

I didn't like Weatherbug for some reason (I tried it, but it bothered me... maybe because of Weatherbugs past... or the interface seemed iffy... don't recall)...

I then installed Accuweather from Blackberry, and I get an icon which shows the daily forecast. Click it and it brings up current conditions, 5 day forecast and other options... it's not the greatest per se... but I can look out my window to see the current conditions... And it's low impact since it's just a browser channel rather than an application.
