Please Login to Remove!

I just bought my son a used bb8300 on ebay. It is unlocked for att. But we are going to used it on t-mobile. I have a 8320 already on t-mobile with the internet package. Can my son just call up t-mobile to purchase the internet package and start using it? Thanks Jimmy

"unlocked for att" is a little contradicting as being "unlocked" means the phone is not tied to any carrier. So if the phone is truly unlocked all he needs to do is add the plan and stick his SIM card in the new phone if I am not mistaken.

That is correct. Once unlocked, it can be activated on any GSM carrier.

To answer your question.. Yes. Your son can call up T-Mobile and purchase the add on services. He can even do the same from the T-Mobile website. But do NOT forget to go through the suggested reading in previous posts.
