Hi,

I am using a Sony DR-BT50 Bluetooth Headphone with my 8820. It works fine with music playback but not video playback. When using FlipSide to play mp3 songs, it plays through speakerphone, not via bluetooth stereo headphone at all...I hope there is a fix to play video/movies with audio output via bluetooth stereo headphone instead of phone speaker. My BB8820 is on 4.5.0.110.

If you come across a workaround, please share with us. Thanks a lot...

It won't work. The 8xxx series of phones are not capable of providing video and BT audio at the same time.

OLDER BB's includng yours (and my 8830) canNOT play the audio portion of a video via Bluetooth. I guess they need an extra coding/encoding/transmission step that may not be possible on the older hardware. There is supposedly a large enough pause while transmitting the audio, that lip sync problems would occur. I've read that the newest units do work.

it is weird though...but better than the BT support in iPhone...
