[Bluffheights90814]

An icon appeared on my screen today and I don't know what it is. Maybe one of you out there can tell me!!

It is located to the right of the ring profile speaker icon and is a small horizontal line with a curlicue on both ends of the horizontal line.

I have searched all the manuals I can find for the 8900 and can't find anything that describes it.

Does anyone out there know what it is???

I believe it means you have voice mail.

I have had one appear for a brief period, that looks like a tiny VM indicator. Battery pull and it was gone.

Why not just check your voice mail?
That makes it go away too.

It isn't the voicemail icon.

I use a 3rd party service that doesn't send the VM notifier.

DUH! Well, I checked my voicemail, didn't have any new messages, but after I signed out of voicemail, the icon was gone! Maybe a little quirk in the program ... ??
