Changing Dictionary choices

I've got Pearl 8100. Is there any way to give one word preference over another that uses the same set of keys? And if not will the phone ever "learn" that you use one much more than the other and start putting it in there?
Don't know how many times I've sent "What the duck!" and realized it later :(
Same for gags and haha.
