I have setup the Blackberry desktop manager to sync my Outlook stuff but there is a problem: I have it setup for two way sync'ing but why isn't there an option to use the most recent update to a task for instance to replace the older one. So if I make a change to a task on my device it should then replace/update the task on the PC or vise-versa. I am sure this was the case with Microsofts active sync working with PocketPC.

Surely this must be a common problem...am I missing something obvious here?

Using: Desktop manager 4.7 with Pearl 8110.

So you setup Desktop Manager to perofmr a 2 way sync.

Your tasks are not updating at all?

Which version of Outlook are your running?

Yes it updates but it should have the option for the item with the latest changes to override the item with older changes, eg: if a task (on both PC and Blackberry) has been changed on the PC it should automatically update the blackberry with those changes instead of asking if it should replace the item.

If you don't want to be prompted are see what changes are going to make to you tasks, go into the Sync setup, click on Tasks choose advanced and uncheck the 2 "Confirmation" boxes..
