Default Websites on Bold - less detail more speed?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi guys,

I've just switched from a Curve handset to a Bold.

While the websites come up as I see them on my PC - and like the iphone - it takes ages to download all the detail. I preferrred the display on my curve - which didn't download each picture - just formula - but was A LOT quicker?

My browser settings are the same on both handsets
Default browser: BlackBerry browser
Default MDS browser config: BlackBerry Browser
Default WAP browser config:O2 active

Any help much appreciated!!

Cheers,

Charlie C

You could disable the loading of images or just reduce their quality.

I don't notice long loading times unless the page is over 150kb.

Open your browser, then press the menu key, and select Options>Browser Configuration. You shouldsee an option called " Show Images". Change this to "No".

Moved to the 9000 section. OP, please also update your profile to show your current device. Thanks.
