Default Getting "OpenMsgStore failed" when configuring DM

Please Login to Remove!

When I try to configure DM with Outlook 2007, I go through the wizard for Tasks and Notes and after clicking on Finished, a dialog box pops up with OpenMsgStore Failed. This only happens for Tasks and Notes. Calendar and Contacts are fine. Any ideas? I have already done multiple "reset configurations". Thanks in advance!

Default having the same openmsgstore failed issue

hi all - i'm having this problem only with the Notes set up - suddenly I'm getting the openmsgstore failed alert after I go through all of the set-up and click confirm. It refuses to sync with notes (the box stays unchecked). I've tried the reset and done the whole battery take out for 10 minutes thing, but no luck.
It's a blackberry 8310
desktop version 4.3.0.17

any ideas?

Default same problem....

I have the same issue as above with my bold and DM 4.7. What worked fine with 4.5 and my old 8100 has now gone belly up when i try to setup sync with Notes. I have trawled the various sites and there are a number of suggestions, none of which have worked for me.

Anyone have any view?

many thanks Y B H

Has anyone tried to do a repair on the Destkop Manager?

What OS are you all runnning on your computer and what version of Outlook are you all syncing with?

Hi

Win XP home with all the service packs. Outlook 2003. I have wiped then reinstalled DM after the initial upgrade from v 4.5 (I upgraded to 4.7 because I though the bold needed the later version).

thanks......ybh
