Is there any GPS Navigation that talks (for the Bold)? I have a regular Tom Tom Navigation set, but I want to use my Bold as my Navigation.

Is it possible to download an app that would work in such a way?

Yes but the best ones are not free. Telenav is hands down the winner for me. 10$ a month. Awesome app.

Check the GPS section. Garmin Mobile is a one time fee. They charge $99 but I've seen it for as low as $79.

Nav4all ( Nav4All - Free gps navigation for your mobile phone! ) is currently free, and talks - including warnings if you drive faster then the currently allowed limit.

I used Telenav for over a year. Last month, on a whim, I downloaded AmazeGPS (free). I have since cancelled Telenav. Amaze is a little more cumbersome to input your info, but it is much faster with directions and, in my areas at least, more accurate with more direct routes. I would certainly try it before you shell out money for a GPS app.

I use Vodafone SatNav, which I managed to get thrown in for free with my 18month deal. This works like a charm and has full voice instruction too.

I'm in the UK, but as you are a Vodafone customer in Australia, it's probably worth asking.

Nav4all is very good for a free program. It comes with a "Fun Female" voice profile that does a nice job of sounding like a real person is sitting in the car telling you where to go.

Overall it has a very "British" feel to it and you may or may not get used to it. But definitely give it a try.

I have nav4all and amazegps. They are decent. I have tried garmin mobile and it is great, miles above the other two, but not as good as their portable units.

Big weaknesses of nav4all and amazgps is that their data base of addresses.

I use AmazeGPS and it is fantastic - very accurate and easy to use!! I would highly recommend it.
