hi, i just put a picture for the caller id, and was surprised to see that the picture doesn't even take up the whole screen? is there an option where i can change this? it seems to be stupid for the phone to have such a big outer display but to only use a small part of it for the caller id.

Nothing inherant to the BlackBerry OS that will do that. There may be a 3rd party app out there that will.
