Default Cannot create email account.

I have just received a replacement BB 8820, I had backed up the old one, and have restored to new one. I use Outlook. I tried to set up mail using, I want to Create or add email address. It comes up as, Cannot create an account as one already exists. I have tried sending email from PC and closing down same, but to no avail. What have I done wrong please.

Are you trying send/receive from your new BlackBerry?

I'd login to the BIS site and make sure it knows you got a new Pin number..

Unless you trying to use the re-director of some sort.

Thanks for the reply. I am trying to set it up to have email. Having backed up I assumed that it would have held the settings. I cannot send or recieve from BB. I have logged in new pin and IMEI number.

Even if you restore a backup to a new device, you will still need to login back into BIS, and re-associate your email accounts with your new device.

Re-sending your service books is the easiest way.. Worst case scenario, remove your email accounts and re-add them.
