Quick question, do you get charged for using PIN messages in the same way as you do for SMS? Are they counted as texts on your service plan?

I'm hoping they don't. As far as i can gather PIN messages are a purely BB thing and should count as part of the data plan.

I cant imagine Orange being any different.
PIN uses data, so it would count off your data.

Just wanted to confirm it really with a UK Orange user. They can be sly at times. eg, when i got the 8900 last month on an 18 month contract they promised the warranty from RIM was 18 months. Looks like that it not the case.
