Default Calendar Syncronisation

Please Login to Remove!

I have a BB 8900 and use Desktop Manager but seem to be having a problem with my synchronisation.
I have set the caneldar to sync in both directions - OK so far.
I have also set the synchronisation to 200 days before and 400 days into the future - NO LUCK.
Regardless of the settings it seems to wipe off anything before 60 days in the past no matter what I set it for. I am using Outlook (2003)
The option for Synchronising ALL appointments doesn't work either,

Is there anyone out there with the answer to my problem
Regards

Wirelessly posted (8800)

Check the settings on your device, too. Calendar > Options > General Options > Keep Appointments. Set the desired duration there.

I am having the same outlook calendar issues....also, does the BB calendar need to be associated with a email address? I never saw that option before. does that jam the sync to outlook? I have seen many posts about this issue on many forums, but no solution that works for me. I have reset the DM sync, assigned outlook as the calendar, etc etc...contacts, memo pad everything else comes over, but no calendar entries.

Oh, and i see that outlooks default POP needs to be the calendar of choice, but still no sync

Hi Wu - Wei, Your instructions seemed to have cured my problem. I don't see the benefit of a Desktop Manager that can't harmonise the settings on the computer and the BB in one set-up. Most other providers of palm and mobile phones seem to be able to do so. I expect there is a good reason for the complicated and separate dual settings.

Again, Many thanks

Mine seems to work fine even though the calendar of choice is NOT the Outlook one.
