I have downloaded a ringtones to my music files and when i play the song through the media player it is loud.
When i set this same song as a ringtone, the volume comes out much lower.
The phone settings are set for ringtone volume as high
The normal profile has ringtone volume set to high

How can I get the ring tone volume to increase (not escalating - i just want it to ring at a high volume)

If I try press the volume button up while the phone is ringing this just mutes the ring completely

This is so frustrating as i just cannot hear the ringing loud enough!

I just downloaded and installed OS .231 and it increased the volume of all my alerts considerably, if you are not running a newer OS that may be your best bet.

do u know why email alerts (ringtone) selected doesn't play any sound.
it only flashes LED.

in both cases, in holster and out holster

check your settings
it may say NONE at the top instead of TONE

Also make sure in the profile you have active that "out of holster" and "In holster" are set to Tone not Mute.

I had .231 and it increased my alerts alot. They were too loud even on low. I fixed it by upgrading to .250.
