BES/MDS Blocking Internet Access for 3rd Party Native Application
Please Login to Remove!
Team, I hope all is well. We have developed a native (java) blackberry application for customers. However, one of my customers has its blackberry users managed through an BES, which to me is fine.
Here is the issue. I can run the native blackberry application on my curve, bold, and tour with no issue. I am not using a BES to manage my curve, bold, and tour. I am able log into the application and access all the pages within the application via the internet connection on either AT&T or Verizon. The application is using REST as the API.
However, when my customer, who is using BES to manage their blackberry users, tries to login to our application, nothing happens. They cannot access anything relating to the application. All of the customers are on Verizon with Tours. We have a diagnostics tool on the application and essentially http access outbound from the application is being blocked.
I am not a BES/MDS Administrator; however, when reading the BES/MDS Administrator Guides, I feel my customer's BES Administrator is not allowing our application the appropriate access to login and provide internet access for our application. Can anyone please help? I really need help to make my customer happy!!!
