Greetings all, I have a new problem that has surfaced recently, and I for the life of me can't figure it out. I use BB Messenger all the time with 4 guys that I work with, for the last 4 years. Never had a problem. A few months ago I added my cousin who lives in Oregon as a BB contact. We can chat it up just like I can with the guys I work with, however every time I clear the history or end chat he disappears as a contact, and I either have to wait till he sends me a message or I have to manually add him back in. This happens every time. He's on Nextel Push to talk, and when I look at his contact info in the messenger program, it always says "unauthorized" next to status. All my other contacts say Active next to their status. I have added him as a pin and every time he disappears after I end the conversation. Any thoughts? Just realized its been a while since I posted, I no longer have the 8703e, I now have the 8330 Curve on Verizon.

One more bit of information, not sure if this means anything, bit all of the Pin numbers I have seen before my cousin's pin have had mixed numbers and letters, however his is all numbers and no letters......?

But you can carry out converstions on BBM with him? I am guessing since he is using BBM he has a data plan? Is his nextel phone with Sprint? Does he have you as a contact on his BBM?

Yes he has a data plan, and I am a contact in his address book and in BB Messenger. And yes his phone is sprint
