So I downloaded the new blackberry messenger on Friday, and when I downloaded it deleted bbm all together. I tried reinstalling it, connecting it to the computer and checking for a new OS. I tried editing application permissions, showing all icons. It is installed in applications (its in bold when I look at it). I cannot figure out what I am supposed to do. please someone help me I have NO CLUE what to do.

Is there any way I can get the old one back? Or figure out why its not working but is installed. When I downloaded it it said installed successfully. I have a bb pearl 8100 its, T-Mobile unlocked to rogers network.

I think you can probably downgrade using DM if you have an OS installed with the old version of BBM. Maybe the version you installed isn't for your OS.

Maybe delete it from the application list and then plugin to DM and install the old version
