Default UMA problem, need some help!!

Please Login to Remove!

Hello everyone I am new to this forum, however I could not find an answer on previous post. I have an 8900 with the data package, on T-Mobile. It was working fine till yesterday. I was at home and noticed I was unable to make calls, it would simply say "connection failed", the phone is set to wi-fi prefferred. So I set it to mobile network prefferred and I was able to make calls. I reset my phone and my computer as well as my router, I even made it an open network. My phone goes on the internet thru UMA, but it will not recieve or make calls when I am on UMA. I also noticed I do not recieve text as well when on UMA. Like I said this problem just occured I don't know if it is my router or my phone. I am going to try to go to another wireless network to see if I still have the same problem. I appreciate in advance any help you could offer me as I am at a loss.

Wirelessly posted (8820)

I understand you to say you have UMA dispalyed on the blackberry but still no go. You have done a hard reset on the blackberry, power cycled the modem and router... I think you've done all you can do. At that point I would have called TMO. I'm curious to here the result of your test with another wifi network.

Thank you for the reply. I have just tried it it on an other wireless network and it does work. So it has to be my own router. I am at work now, but when I get home I'll try to play with it and see what happens. I will keep you updated and once again thank you.
