Default mail not sending/receiving

Please Login to Remove!

Dad got a new Tour. His mail accounts from his old BB device were transferred over to the know one. But the email isn't being sent/received in a consistent manner. Sometimes yes, sometimes no, but mostly not.

any thoughts/suggestions?

thanks

Ditto on the hard reset. Other than that, need more info. What do you mean by consistant? Sounds like you have the service books and all the BIS folders are there.

What was the problem, and what fixed it?

Embarrassed to say (though I can blame it on Verizon store who set everything up for my dad originally). Very simple: his email account wasn't set up correctly. Went to BB webpage and reset everything and all works now.

Thanks. It's good to have the info for people searching later.
