Default OS Upgrade Time?

Please Login to Remove!

How long should it take to upgrade my OS using Desktop Manager?

Seems to be taking a long time downloading module 245 of 246 (Task 3 of 12 ).

Should mention that this is a vzw 8330 Curve updating vzw OS.

The OS upgrade can take an hour. There are phases that seem like the process has crashed. Just leave everything alone until the computer confirms that the process is completed.

Thanks. First time doing anything like this and a bit apprehensive.

No problem. You shouldn't have any difficulty, but post back if you do. If you get an error message, pay attention and write it down.

I usually do something else like watch TV or browse the web on a different computer so I'm not tempted to mess with it. Going from 4.2 to 4.5 I thought it was fried about 4 times during the cycle.
