So I placed an insurance claim on my pearl through Signal part of Assurant Solutions who my carrier uses. I use a desktop charger as my sole charger for my phone. I have recieved 4 replacement phones and none of them work in the desktop charger. They will work with the standard port charger but not the desktop. (they have all been refurbished phones). Is there something I am doing wrong? They are saying its due to me not charging it on a standard plugin charger first.

No dear don't use desktop charger. it will blump your bettery. just use original accessories of your cell phones.

What desktop charger are you referring to?

You can charge to your PC if you installed the DM in that PC. It shouldnt be an issue.

I've been using my desktop charger since day one and have never had a battery problem. If the battery is getting charged either by a cord or charger, it makes no difference, so long as the voltage levels and amperage levels are the same between the cord and the charger stand.

Do you mean you're using a cradle? If so is it the right cradle for your phone?

probably the wrong desktop charger for your phone, which pearl do you have and what is the refence number for the stand? is it an official blackberry stand?
