When I am hearing music with the media player on the bb and a sms text message enters the music stops plating for a couple of seconds. How can I avoid that?

You need to select a profile that does not play a sound when you receive a new message. Your Storm is pausing your music to play your new message notification. Try selecting Silent from your Sound Profiles to see if that works, then you can adjust your sound profiles from there.

My old BlackBerry Pearl Flip running OS could play music and sound notification simultaneously. How come this haven't been fixed in Storm 2
Now I just leave "phone only" profile on. But I miss having sounds for SMS and bbmsn etc

It has been this way on my Curve, Storm, Storm 2, so your Pearl was an exception.
You just need to change the profiles.

That sucks. It does not bother me that much but its crazy that my flip could handle that. And earlier in my post I meant to say OS 4.6.
Anyway RIM should do something about this.
