I very stupidly tried to clean the display with some alcohol and a little bit must have leaked underneath it. The result is there is a half an inch in diameter greyish spot under the glass, which bothers me a lot.
What should i do ? Warm the whole phone up ? remove the display (HOW??) ?
Any help is very welcome.

Try Youtube for disassembly instructions. View a couple and see if you think you could do it and have the right tools.

For my Curve I only viewed 2 before I did it and they both didn't point out a key clip that holds the front cover on. But others do as I found out after struggling for a while and bending a clip.

I actually managed to lift the screen up with a guitar pick and cleaned the inside with a lint-free cloth, but the "stain" is still there, so it must be under the display. Will opening up the entire unit allow me, in your opinion, to remove the grey patch or is it somehow permanently "embedded" in the display itself ?
