Default Message list: show all apart from anonymus calls

Please Login to Remove!

I like it, when the message list shows SMS and calls in absence as well.

But only one type of entry about calls in absence makes sense: when it contains the identity of the caller.

Do you know a way to disable entries of calls in absence without identity of the message list?

Out of curiosity: is there anybody out there, who would like to purify the list of calls in absence like me?
Do you agree that messages about calls in absence without identity makes no sense at all?

May be, do you wonder like me about another annoyance:
when someone leaves a voice message on you mailbox, the BB shows
1 a message about a call in absence
2 a message from your provider with a standard text "you have a voice mail"

Number 1 is redundant.

To be honest: even the way of being informed about a new voice message and the neccessary steps to listen to it, is an annoyance.

Why, a user asks himself, does it needs more steps and seconds to listen to a voice message than read an SMS?
Why is a mobile phone not able to save the voice message directly in the phone and hitting a message about the arrival about a voice message start it in a fraction of a second.

Like on the ancient answering machines with cassettes.
They had a great workflow, compared to the poor one of actual mobile phones.
In my humble opinion.

What do you think about all that?

Do you argue "Well, these some seconds, these few extras steps, ..."?

I think some of this is done on the carrier level. When I had AT&T service I never got a text message that I had missed a call. I only got the on-screen popup announcing this. I also never got a text message that I had a new voicemail, only the indicator at the top of the screen. Sprint, however, insists on bombarding me with these useless notifications.

Glad to hear, that there are others who dislike "bombarding" - in your case it refers to text messages.

Do you understand why the majority of users came to an arrangement with the "bombarding" in the case of voice messages.

I asked the question of the previous post in a forum in german language or among some of my friends and relatives. All I get was a shrug, in the sense of "We never thought about a better workflow, we eat what we get."

I think the workflow of some tasks in mobile communication is in an incredible low stage of development.
