How do you select more than one picture to email from your Storm 2? It only allows me to select one at a time.

You can't.
You have to select one at a time.

I don't know about the Storm, but I can't see why it would be different. Try this:

Compose an email.

Select attach file from the menu.

Navigate to the image file, select, choose size if prompted, etc.

Repeat to attach additional files.

I just test with 3 files and sent to myself. I expect you will only be limited my the max attachment size cap.

So, the issue is not sending more than one picture at a time, it is selecting multiple files at one time and attaching them to an email all at once? If that is the question, then, no, I don't see any way to do it but attach one at a time.
