Is that possible to do? I snap a lot and I don't want to disturb others i.e. at library, in lectures...etc.

rim does not show any ability to do this. You might try turning down the volume or trying a profile with silent set.

Setting it in silent doesn't work. Neither does turning the volume down. There's an app that can do that. Forgot what it's called though.
