HELP

I have 2 email accounts: company on BES and personal from gmail. BB970 displays icons for MESSAGES and GMAIL account. I do not have a separate icon for my company BES email. My company and gmail messages all dump into MESSAGES which gets confusing. How do I stop my gmail messages from being merged into MESSAGES and/or how can I get a separate icon that will only provide my company BES emails?

Messages > Options > Inbox Settings
Check/Uncheck as needed.

What version OS do you have? The option might be called something different.
Better yet... list all the choices you DO have under Messages>Options.

Okay, I did that...my options are General Options, Email Settings, Email Reconciliation, Spell Check and Enhanced Gmail. There isn't any INBOX option. Under General Options there is a SMS and Email Inboxes. I changed that from Theme Controlled to Separate but the emails are still merged into Messages. Basically, I want my gmail to stay in the Gmail folder and I only want my business BES emails to appear in the Message folder.

Upgrade to a newer version of the OS on your handheld.
The version you have is old. The option was added in a later release.
