Hi, I have a blackberry 8800. I have installed BlackBerry_Simulators_4.2.1.74_8800.exe on my laptop. But when I run it from start programs menu - it does not launch. Please advice. Laptop OS is XP.....regards, nirmal

Right click on the start menu item to launch the simulator, then select properties. Then go onto compatibility and run it in win2k compatibility mode, and also select 'run as administrator'. Click Ok and try it and see if that works. Also try another simulator download, I have had some in the past that don't work, yet another version/carrier simulator does for some reason.

thanks... I tried using your method but it did not work. Any other way around?
