Default New Folders On Home Screen. Can I make each one look different (icon)?

Please Login to Remove!

I have created 4 new folders on my home screen where I file different app icons, but all of the new folder icons look exactly alike. Just a plain file with no distinguishing marks. Can I get folder icons with different markings like the "Downloads" file icon w/ the yellow arrow mark or the "Games" file with the blue game controller in the middle? The only way to tell which of these new folders is which is to hover over them and then read the folder name that shows up at the bottom of the screen. Is there a setting or option native to the BB OS that I can use or would I need to use a 3rd party app or theme?

Thanks in advance!

Yes you can but it's limited in terms of the options, but here are the steps:

1. Highlight the folder you want to customize
2. Press the BlackBerry button (the one to the left of the trackpad)
3. From the sub-menu, select "Edit Folder"
4. Move the cursor to the left until the folder is highlighted
5. Press the trackpad once to display the folder options available.

There are 27 options and some are ones used already (games, media, etc.) but highlight the one you want and press the track pad to select.

6. Highlight "Save" and press the track pad

You should now have the newly selected folder option.
