WHY oh WHY would you create a product and toute that it will work on mobile platforms, but fail to test it on a blackberry??

WHAT THE HELL!! If you were told from the very begining that all of your On-call staff have a blackberry device, some may have iPhone or Droid, but all others have company issued blackberry's. WHY WOULDNT YOU TEST IT!

HOLY CRAP. I am so tired of these developers coming in and showing how cool a software app looks on a device other than what you use in your environment. PAY ATTENTION!! Ask Questions. For crying out loud its not rocket science!!

WE ARE PAYING YOU LOTS OF MONEY! and your response is.. well it looks good on the android and iPhone. None of the developers even have a blackberry to test it on.

Eh, maybe the purpose of the app was to drive you mad. Seemed to work.

The problem with this particular app is that it is to help the help desk get our tickets out. It renders on devices that a) we dont have, b) we dont support. All of our on call staff that need to view tickets remotely all have blackberry's.

Seems to be more and more vendors that dont give a crap about what you have in the environment, but are trying to convince you to stray to other devices that dont have the security or functionality you need in the enterprise. But they look really cool though..
