Hi, I am using a Sprint 9650 right now just upgraded it to OS6. My problem is that I am trying to get the phone to work on 3G in a different country i am currently in Bermuda and the phone picks up EDGE fine but it will not go onto the 3G network for some reason. I've checked and double checked that my sim is provisioned for 3G and it seems all good on their end. The network in Bermuda Frequency for 3G is 850/ and their GSM 1900. I've checked and the Sprint 9650 frequencies are Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE networks: 850/900/1800/1900MHz.

SO my question is why cant i connect to the networks 3G?

I want to connect to 3G because their EDGE is so incredible slow.

3G is UMTS not GSM/GPRS/EDGE.
The 9650 has Single-band: 2100MHz UMTS/HSPA networks
So it won't get 3G.
