Default Going on Vacation

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

New here - this is my first post.

I've tried searching on google and can't seem to find an answer to this.

I'm travelling to England from Canada in a few weeks and I know i have to change the time zone myself but what happens to any events I have in my calendar?

We're starting to book things like rail tickets and if I put in now that the train is leaving at 10am and get a reminder 1 hour before then change my timezone does the time of the event stay the same or would it jump ahead 6 hours when i change the time zone?

Also - my calendar is linked to my google calendar - how will changing the timezone on my blackberry effect events when the phone syncs?

or if I don't turn roaming on i imagine nothing would change

thanks for answering

Default Re: Going on Vacation

If you change the time under Options---Date/Time to right zone your notification will come on the time where you are. So don't change it until you are in that time zone.

I'm not sure about the google calender but you can change the time zone on there as well so both are in sync for time zone.
Make sure your BB is unlocked in case you are going to use local sim or make international roaming is enabled from your carrier if you going to use Canadian sim.
Good luck.
