New to blackberry. how do i lock pictures?
i have created a new folder for pictures i.e. family, work etc, moved pictures to these folders, so far fine but, they still appear in all pictures? somewhat defeats the object of moving them to specific folders or am i missing something? any ideas

What exactly are you trying to do? What is your idea of security?

Setting a device password with a suitable timeout may be what you want to do. Regardless, it is still the smart thing to do.

Enabling encryption and including media files would be a next step.

just seems daft that pictures are folder specific but, there is an option to view all pictures, so putting them in folders is a waste of time.

Sorry, still don't understand what you are trying to do. If you want to be able to loan the handset and keep images hidden...well, I can't relate. Nobody touches my BlackBerry but me.

Maybe what you want to do is use separate media cards. Don't know.

you will need to go into the files Application and locate the folder, from there like a computer you will want to hide it, once you do that it should remove it from the picture application viewer
